Pretty in Pink!
Jenna's dance recital was the most precious thing that I have ever seen. Of course, I am extremely biased! Her little class did an outstanding job! All of us mommies were a little worried after the dress rehearsal where five of the six girls stood frozen as they stared at the curtain going up and then spent the remainder of rehearsal spinning in circles (not part of the routine) or lying in the middle of the stage (again, not part of the dance). No need for the worries at all... those six little lollipop princesses performed their entire routine like little pros.

Jenna loved her "skin" tights. According to her they are "way way a lot cooler than my plain pink ones!"

A big thanks to Papa and Meme' who drove all the way from Georgia for the big show. Also, many thanks to Nana and Papa, G-Pa and G-Ma, Uncle Alex and Aunt Heather, Ella, Aunt Wanda and Mama P, Aunt Devone, and Aunt Megan and Justin for coming out to see Jenna. She was so excited to see everyone there. She also felt like a special princess because three of the main men in her life showered her with flowers; thanks Daddy, Papa, and G-Pa! Jenna's friend Jenna also gave her one of her own pink "Angelina Ballerina" roses; she is such a sweet friend!

Aunt Katie also danced in this recital and looked simply elegant. Jenna hopes to be a "real ballet dancer like Aunt Katie when I get big like her." Mommy hopes that Jenna is as sweet and talented as Aunt Katie when she is that age! All in all, our first year of dance class was a smashing success!

Too precious! She's beautiful. I like the pink costume the best. I want to go next year. Maybe Kara and Emma Kate can take classes together. Huh... wonder if we can sign up now? ;)
Thanks for the compliments Stephanie. Your little Perrin is the cutest little boy ever himself! Your pictures on the blog are precious. We should get Kara and Perrin together for a playdate this summer!
Lydia- maybe only another year or so until we get our wish; they let a two year old into Jenna's class this year. I mean a true two; class started in August, and she had just turned two in June when Jenna had turned three! :-) The recital would be worth coming to- they do an outstanding job with all of the ge groups!
